I am a MBA student in New York City with international experience and interest in global fashion and culture, but more specifically the market entry strategies needed for various countries. I have always been fond of the artistic expression that fashion brings to the world, but also very intrigued by the way fashion influence and affect other cultures, religions and countries’ pride. I plan to continue this idea into a PhD program where I could help fashion houses enter a new market successfully with very little effort by provide full understanding of the fashion culture of “foreign” countries. My little obsession with fashion is just being put to good use. When I was younger my best friend at the time and I was convinced we were going to be fashion designers. Well I’m no Marc Jac, but I could put some hot garments together. The real money is where the designing rejects go… corporate America. If I’m getting this MBA I might as well use it to help the industry. Plus who doesn’t love fashion gossip.
